30Jan05: PHPCounter 7.2 Update 1

A new update has been released that fixes some bugs identified by two really sharp-eyed PHPCounter users and updates the Search Strings/Keywords plugins. Specifically:

  • * Sometimes you can get a warning regarding a file called error_log in the /locks directory. Now this error will not show up. If you do see the error, please contact me.
  • * When you start tracking a new page and visit it for the very first time, you may see a warning about a file not found in the /counts directory. This will not show up any more. If you do see the error, please contact me.
  • * The plugins Last 10 Hits, All Hits, Filter, and Logz used to display the date/time of each hit in GMT. This is of course wrong if the server is not in the GMT time zone. This is now fixed.
  • ^ The Search Strings and Search Keywords plugins can now detect the A9.com search engine. This brings the total number of search engines that PHPCounter can detect to 70.
