To analyze a web page or a text for keywords, please use the form below:
The Keyword Extractor and Analyzer
In brief, the Keyword Extractor and Analyzer (KEA) takes a text or a web page URL as input. The keywords in the text or web page are then extracted. The list of keywords can then be checked by you and submitted for ranking checks in the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN).
For more information, read the technical specs and help of the Keyword Extractor and Analyzer.
Uses of the Keyword Extractor and Analyzer
Keywords are a major tenet of search engine optimizations (SEO). Example uses of the KEA:
- Detect which keywords a web page is targetting. This is useful for competition analysis.
- Detect for which keywords a web page ranks highly for. To rephrase: given a web page, what search terms will find it?
The KEA was tested by several people, and I would like to thank them for putting in the time and effort:
- Garrick, who runs Respree.com where you can buy canvas transfers, art prints and posters.
- Ken, who runs the LSBLOGS blog search engine/directory.
- James, aka 'Doc', who runs an SEO/SEM consulting services firm.
